• Messi is so Humble!

  The Aregentine striker seems to be more humble than I thought. I typically think professional athlete’s egos can inflate so large that it really affects their vision. Barcelona’s Lionel Messi says comparisons to other athletes such as Michael Jordan, Usain Bolt and Muhammad Ali make him feel uncomfortable.  I personally can relate to compliments making me feel uncomfortable. I apologize for that last statement because you probably don’t care. Messi doesn’t want to be evaluated until he is done playing the game. There is no doubt that he has dominated the soccer world in the past few years. He is only 25 and in hist last 20 league appearances he has driven an outstanding 29 shots into the back of the net.  I am about to turn thirty and I feel like I am 80 years old. Anyone out there want to help me get in shape? Shane

• Thierry Henry Retiring?

  Thierry Henry has had a magical career.  We can all think back to amazing time he spent with the French National team.  He has had a massive impact on the game of soccer around the world. Henry now plays for New York Red Bulls.  In a recent interview with Bein Sport he told them that he is going to try and play another two years.  At the end of this new contract he will be 37 years old.  His professional career has lasted close to twenty years! He will be missed.
